The purpose of this privacy policy is to formalize our commitment to respect the privacy of the users of our game Star Hunters.
This privacy policy applies to the game/application Star Hunters and to all the services it provides, which we here collectively call the Service or the Application.
What information does the Application collect and how is it used?
User provided information
The Application does not require any user registration and it does not require the user to provide any personal information.
The only User-Provided data that the Application uses is the information that the user provides within the application, when defining player profiles (nicknames and level of difficulty).
All game data, including the above-mentioned player profiles’ data, are only stored locally in the user’s device, within the Application private folder and following Android’s (for android devices) or IOS’s (for IOS devices) security best practices.
Automatically Collected information
The Application does not collect any information automatically.
In particular, no personal information (such as your full name, physical address, email address, telephone number, …) is automatically collected by the Application, and the Application does not collect precise information about the location of your mobile device.
When do we share your personal data with third parties ?
We do not share any personal information with third party companies.
How long do we retain your personal data ?
The Application does not collect, share nor retain any personal data. All game data are only stored locally on your mobile device, within the Application private folder, following Android’s (for android devices) or IOS’s (for IOS devices) security best practices.
If you would like to update specific User Provided Data, you may do it directly within the Application, by editing the player profiles information.
What are your rights?
If you would like to delete User Provided Data, you may do it by clearing the application’s data or by uninstalling the Application from your mobile device. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.
Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) compliance
The application is built using the Unity game engine. Data collection by the Unity game engine’s Analytics services has NOT been enabled.
We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone, including from children under the age of 13. We do not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to anyone, including children under the age of 13.
Security
We are concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of the information that are stored locally on your mobile device.
Please be aware that, although we endeavor provide reasonable security for information we process and maintain, no security system can prevent all potential security breaches (e.g., a zero-day attack targeting mobile Operating System – OS).
In order to ensure an optimal security, you shall regularly install any Application’s update available from the mobile application marketplace.
We also advise you to regularly check for any OS update(s) that could be available and to enable automatic updates.
